Bomb 'Splodes in Thailand; Only Six Hurt

A relative of the owner of a food shop bombed in Pattani's Muang district yesterday salvages what he can from the wreckage. The blast wounded six people, including three school directors. - Jetjaras na RanongA bomb blast injured six people in Pattani yesterday, including three school directors, while gun attacks elsewhere in the deep South left a school janitor dead and a police informant wounded.The bomb, planted in a bush behind a food shop tambon Rusamilae, Pattani's Muang district, went off about 12.55pm. The blast wounded six people, four of them seriously.The seriously injured were Prasit Siribunlong, director of Ban Bana School in Muang district; Jetsada Hayeemasa, director of Saiburi Chaengprachakhom School in Saiburi district; Masorlae Sueree, director of Ban Manangdalam in Kapho district; Pattarasak Thepsorn, personnel management chief of Education Zone 11. The two other victims were shopowner Nitiya Sirivet and her woman employee Thitima Promruang.
